Rescue Diver
“Challenging” and “rewarding” best describe the SSI Rescue Diver course with bubbles. Building upon what you’ve already learned, this course expands on what you already know about how to prevent problems, and how to manage them if they occur. The focus of diving move to others, in previous course you have mainly concentrated on looking after yourself but with the SSI Rescue Diver course the focus shifts to recognising problems with others, what to do and how to help them. Rescue Diver

Building upon what you’ve already learned, this course expands on what you know about how to prevent problems, and how to manage them if they occur.
The focus of diving move to others, in previous course you have mainly concentrated on looking after yourself but with the SSI Diver Stress and Rescue course the focus shifts to recognising problems with others, what to do and how to help them.

Deep diver
The SSI Deep Diving Specialty will teach you all you need to dive to depths between 18 and 40 meters
You will learn to plan and safely complete your deep diving adventures and use computers and gas consumption calculations to get the most from your deep dives.
Upon completion, you will earn your SSI Deep Diving Specialty certification and be able to explore beautiful deep dive sites wherever you choose. This SSI Specialty is also a prerequisite for some advanced training, making it the next logical step to take in your dive education.
Wreck Diver
Many of the ocean’s best dive sites are wrecks. These impressive structures attract unusually high densities of marine life and give you the chance to immerse in living history as you dive.
There is nothing quite like wreck diving and the SSI Wreck Diving specialty will give you all the skills and knowledge you need to become a safe and confident wreck diver.
You will also get to practice your wreck diving skills during open water training dives. All of which will ensure you can enjoy wreck diving with confidence and get the most out of every dive.
Decompression Diver
The SSI Decompression Diving Specialty will teach you how to dive beyond the no-decompression limits. You will learn to plan and conduct dives to a maximum depth of 40 meters with limited decompression using your recreational total diving system and a single decompression cylinder.
You will learn and practice how to effectively use your dive computer features, including switching gases, gas integration, time-to-reserve, and time-to-surface. Using these computer functions will become second nature, enabling you to safely conduct dives with limited decompression without hours of dive planning.
Cavern Diver
Gozo has some amazing caverns and this course will teach you everything you need to know about diving in caverns. This is a challenging and very exciting course that includes four training dives over at least two days.
During your first open water dive you’ll practice line handling, reel use and emergency procedures without entering a cavern. But, for your next three dives, you’re headed into the cavern, staying within the light zone and 40 metres/130 feet total distance from the surface. We are one of the few dive centres with staff fully qualified to teach this course
Nitrox Diver
As a Nitrox diver, you can increase your bottom times and safety margins, plus shorten your surface intervals – so you can spend more time diving and less time waiting! In this program, you will learn new skills and increase your diving knowledge whilst learning how to safely plan and dive with enriched air mixtures of up to 40% oxygen.
